The IYMC Scattergood Friends School Committee is the governance body appointed to oversee the property and operation of Scattergood Friends School near West Branch, Iowa. Founded in 1890 by Quakers, Scattergood Friends School continues to be guided by principles such as simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship.
Scattergood serves 6th through 12 grade students, with 6th – 8th grade being a day only school and 9th – 12th grade offering day only, 5-day boarding, and full boarding options.
